Our Values
Every organization, business and individual must have a list of values which are important to them. These values are what our company revolves around, and we are excited to influence the lives of other people who are Imperfectly Perfect!
Acceptance; By creating an improved definition of perfect, we are allowing people to stop judging a book by its cover; this improved definition revolves around the idea that perfection is not determined by outer appearance, but rather inner qualities. For example: in 2011, when you pass someone on the street with a large scar/burn on their face, your first thought as the onlooker is to pay attention to the scar itself, which may lead to being judgmental. In 2016, we will have reached enough people where in the same situation as listed above, instead of judging the scar/burn, we will look at what a confident individual the person is, by being in public. The perception will now be what a strong person they are, by living through and embracing an experience, which resulted in this scar/burn. The greater mass of society will become curious, at ease, and friendlier, allowing for growth of support, and friendship between strangers. In addition, the person with the scar/burn will feel inspirational because of this new outlook towards them and their situation.
Strength; with a new positive mindset, people will begin to challenge themselves. Instead of the 2011 way of viewing difficult situations, which is “how am I going to get through this?” In 2016, with the help of Imperfectly Perfect, Inc, people will view life’s obstacles in an eager, ready to win manner, such as “I’m going to get through this because it will be another hurdle I have jumped over, and grown from.”
Support; this is solitary the most essential facet of Imperfectly Perfect. Studies have shown a positive correlation between a strong support system and improved quality of health. We will educate the world on the importance of lending support. People will begin to care more about others and other situations because the benefits of support, will be made extremely clear due to the amazing people who are joining our revolution! This will become a chain reaction. For example: Once someone who needs support at a certain time in their life gets that support, they will understand the importance behind the action. In return, they will provide the correct support for someone else, because they have witnessed the effects of a support system, which was how they overcame their own obstacles.
Beauty; in past and present generations the media portrays perfection as being outwardly flawless, centering on a physical determination of the word. According to the dictionary, perfect is defined as, “accurate, exact, or correct in every detail.”
When did this idea of perfection, only include physical appearance?
In considering a diamond, a diamond can only be considered flawless after being shaped in the correct way. Imperfectly Perfect raises the question; can one really be perfect without enduring unique experiences which shapes us into the beautiful human beings we have the potential to be? Although it is important for everyone to understand they are perfect in their own way, due to their own situations, it is extremely important that children understand that the media and society are incorrect in their definition of perfection.
Beauty is from within.
